Summary
Hanwha constantly updates WAVE's desktop and mobile applications to keep up with newer operating systems. The current list of supported OS versions is compiled below.
Operating Systems
When WAVE drops an OS from its support list, it will be posted under that release on the RELEASE NOTES page.
Microsoft Windows
- Support for Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2 will end with the release of WAVE Version 6.
- Windows 10/Enterprise, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016 v1607, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022 will continue to be supported with Version 6 and higher
Ubuntu Linux: (Debian-based Linux)
- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 5.0 and below
- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with the WAVE 5.1 release
Apple macOS
- macOS 11.0, 11.1, 11.2 (Big Sur), macOS 12 (Monterey), macOS 13 (Ventura)
- There is no server version of Wave for macOS; it is only the client application. Your WAVE server would have to run in a Windows or Linux environment.
Google Android Wave Mobile OS: (For Wave Servers with Wave Sync)
- Android 8, Android 9, Android 10, Android 11, Android 12, Android 13
Google Android Wisenet Mobile OS: (For NVRs)
