Issue Summary

With certain WAVE Servers, the WAVE Client will not open and gives the following error: Video Card Drivers Outdated.

Resolution

For the WRR-P-E201W, follow these steps:

1. Open Windows Device Manager and expand Display adapters.
   
   
   
    
2. Disable the ASPEED Graphics Family(WDDM) GPU.
   
   
   
    
3. Connect the monitor to the HDMI port on the back of the system.
   
   
    
4. Reboot the Server.

NOTE: If the issue exists and the HDMI port is the primary graphics interface,
follow steps one and two to disable the ASPEED Graphics Family(WDDM) GPU.

For the servers listed below:

• WRR-P-E200x1 Series
• WRR-P-S202x1 Series
• WRR-Q-A201W Series
• WRR-Q-A200W

1. Disconnect the VGA port. 
    

2. Use the supplied Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to connect the system to an HDMI monitor. 
   
   
    

   The WAVE Client will now open.
