Hi M,
Thank you for the update.
Generally Hanwha cameras will present themselves on a 192.168.1.100 default IP address if there is no DHCP server present. However if you have also tried using the Wisenet Device Manager and still cannot discover the camera that seems very strange.
Even if your workstation is on a different IP address the camera should in most cases be discovered.
Possibly try and put your workstation in the same range as the default address and see if that makes any difference.
Silly question when using a PoE switch are the link/act lights flashing at all.

Thank you for your request.
Firstly I would suggest using the Wisenet Device Manager to discover the camera that you can download from the following link. https://www.hanwhavision.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Wisenet_Device_Manager_v2.8.4_setup_Full.zip
Also if you factory default the camera by holding the reset button on the camera for 30 seconds until the link/act lights go blank and then let go and see if that assist you.
In most cases that isn't required but does resolve many issues.

Yes I tried using wisenet device manager and tried resetting the camera couple times. It didn't work. Software doesn't see the camera for some reason.

This is the weird part. I tried all this with jus camera Poe switch and my PC. No luck. PC is on the same subnet as the camera. The light on the camera is on and flashing. When resetting the camera should I be holding the button for about 30 seconds? Usually the light goes off after about 5 sec and that's when I release it

Hi M,
I would suggest trying holding the reset button for 30 seconds and if that doesn't work another method that I have used for many years with many cameras is hold the reset button for 30 seconds whilst holding the reset button power down the camera count a further 30 seconds and the power the camera whilst holding the reset button and count a further 30 seconds and then let go.
See if that makes any difference in detecting the device.

Hi M,
Just wondering how you got on with the last recommendation and if you had any success getting that camera operational.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

I was able to test the camera again. I held the reset button for about minute now. Unfortunately that didn't work. When I tried searching for camera using wisenet software it didn't see the camera. I did search using angry IP as well with same results. I'm at lost not sure what would work at this point. Camera powers up but it's not seen in any IP search.

Hi M,
Thank you for the update and I'm sorry to hear that hard factory resetting it hasn't made any difference in the cameras behavior.
The only thing that I can suggest is possibly taking the camera back to the distributor to se if they can possibly check the device or even replace it as it sounds like it's a hardware issue if it's not discoverable on the network.
