If a customer is having issues with playing back recordings using the SD card player tool after recording to an SD card, please check the following
- Version of the SD player tool
The latest version is 2.00.
Any lower version, please request the partner to update to version 2.00
- Check Compatibility
- Supported Cameras- Cameras that have the WISENET 5 Chipset such as the XNB-6000, if not encrypted, will work with the SD Player Tool

- Multi-directional cameras (PNM-xxxx)
- Not supported Cameras
- WN3 Cameras with the WISENET 3 Chipset such as the SNB-7004 and older models
- Q series (e.g. QNB-6000)
- P series (e.g. PNF-9010RV)
- If the customer cannot check the recordings with the use of the SD card player even if recordings are not encrypted then check the storage setting of customer's camera under Settings - Event – Storage
- Ensure that SD Card has been selected and recordings have been enabled
- Ensure that VFAT has been configured as the SD File system (if ext4 a separate application will be required in order for the recordings to be recognised by Windows OS)
- Ensure Encryption is disabled
