SD Player Compatibility

If a customer is having issues with playing back recordings using the SD card player tool after recording to an SD card, please check the following

1. Version of the SD player tool

The latest version is 2.00.

Any lower version, please request the partner to update to version 2.00

2. Check Compatibility
   - Supported Cameras
   • Cameras that have the WISENET 5 Chipset such as the XNB-6000, if not encrypted, will work with the SD Player Tool

• Multi-directional cameras (PNM-xxxx)

      - Not supported Cameras

• WN3 Cameras with the WISENET 3 Chipset such as the SNB-7004 and older models
• Q series (e.g. QNB-6000)
• P series (e.g. PNF-9010RV) 

3. If the customer cannot check the recordings with the use of the SD card player even if recordings are not encrypted then check the storage setting of customer's camera under Settings - Event – Storage
   • Ensure that SD Card has been selected and recordings have been enabled
   • Ensure that VFAT has been configured as the SD File system (if ext4 a separate application will be required in order for the recordings to be recognised by Windows OS)
   • Ensure Encryption is disabled
