SolidEdge - Add Partition

The below article instructs users how to add partitions on our SolidEdge cameras, PNV-A6081R-E1T and PNV-A6081R-E2T

A partition is a reserved part of the storage drive such as an SSD that is used as a separate drive. 

It is recommended that new SSDs should be initialised and partitioned.

Hanwha's PNV-A6081R-E1T/E2T come with a SSD (1 TB or 2 TB) pre-installed.

1. Stop the application from running  

 
2. Then select initialise to initialise the SSD

 

This will bring up a new window displaying how the current storage space it utilised.

Users will then be able to add or reset partitions.

Please note, that by adding or resetting partitions that the SSD will be re-initialised regardless.

Any partitions added or modified will be listed under the camera's storage settings:
