NVR video playing is not smooth at fast playback

1. Installation case

   - Installed XRN-6410B2 integrated with multiple network cameras for APT. security

2. Symptom

   - Video plays not smoothly when playing back at 2 times fast

   - Display skips scenes for 2 sec, 4~5 sec depends on the playback speed

3. Cause

   - Setting the GOV length(240) without considering fast playback specification

    (Only plays I-frame at fast playback)

   - GOV length 240 = I-frame 1 + P-frame 239

   - If frame rate is 30fps and GOV length is 240, I-frame is received at every 8 secs

4. Measures

   - Adjust the length of GOV to not to skip scenes even playing back at fast speed

   - As the length of the GOV becomes shorter, the number of transmissions of I-frames

     increases. NVR setting is required considering the frame rate, storage space, bandwidth,

     etc. of the site (Recommended: frame rate 30fps, GOV length 30~60)
