Description
- Hanwha Vision now offer three types of remote head cameras; XNB-6001, XNB-6002, PNM-9000QB
- These models are used with a cable-type lens module.
- This article describes how to optimize lens cable length during installation on remote head cameras.
- For installation details, please refer to the user manual and quick guide for each product.
1. Installing the lens module in the main unit
※ Note
- Only the single cable provided in the package should be used with the lens module.
- We do not guarantee the proper operation of the camera when using cables other than the cables provided by Hanwha Vision.
Every lens module package includes an 8-meter cable as default. When you need to organize the cable, follow the instructions below to roll it up.
- Turn off the main unit power when connect or remove lens module.
- Install the lens at least 3 meters away from the main unit. It is recommended to not fix the cable within 3 meters from the main unit.
- It is recommended to wrap the ferrite core two times around the power cable and LAN cable.
- There is a 15-meter optional cable (SCL-150) available for the PNM-9000QB. However, it is not available for XNB-6001 and XNB-6002. And, you must use one of the 8-meter or 15-meter cables. You can't use both at once.
