2. Service Guide
1) It is recommended to replace your SD card after 6 months of its use (the lifespan varies depending on the data storage method of each SD card)
• Read/Write lifespan: MLC (up to 10,000 times) , TLC (up to 500 times)
• It is recommended to format the SD card every 1 month.
2) It is recommended to use products from SanDisk and Transcend manufacturers
3) It is recommended to use an SD card with MLC, Class 10 or higher, and high endurance
※ SLC memory cards have not been pervasive due to its high unit cost.
QLC memory cards have been avoided in the market due to its low stability.
Currently, the types of memory cards mainly used in the market are MLC and TLC.
It is recommended to use the MLC type for security equipment and to use the TLC type for mobile use.
It is recommended to use an highly endurance SD card allowing 24HR continuous recording.
3. Precautions
- Potential problems when using SD cards, not the MLC type
•There is a concern that an event has occurred according to the System LOG but hasn't been recorded on such SD cards. •There is a concern that some cameras may not recognize such SD cards.
