- It is recommended to periodically check the RAID status.
ㆍ In case of degradation, the bad HDD should be replaced immediately to prevent array data loss.
- It is recommended to carry out periodic backup management of important data.
- It is recommended to replace the HDD that has been used in RAID configuration over the HDD continuous operation lifespan (usually 2 years).
※ RAID status value
NVR Menu > Device > Storage Media > Check
ㆍ Degraded: Indicates that a HDD constituting the RAID Array is faulty.
(HDD replacement is required immediately)
ㆍ Rebuilding: Indicates that RAID recovery is in progress when replacing the number of failed HDDs
allowed by the RAID levels.
ㆍ Fail : Indicates that the RAID array cannot be used/recovered.
