2. Purpose
- When setting up a disk array, it is recommended to use 'Advanced Configuration' to
create logical drives for system optimization
3. Advanced Configuration function(Refer to Quick Guide pg.20)
(1) Disk Arrays → (2) Advanced configuration → (3) Undo ‘Enable Media Patrol’→
(4) Select number of physical drives → (5) Select RAID level → (6) Submit →
(7) Check Array content → (8) Logical drive configuration

- When enabling Media Patrol, Disk check performs at every 10sec
- Disk Check continuously consumes memory, thus system cannot offer its optimal performance
- Recommended not to exceed 8 physical drivers per each logical drive
