Applies to: Hanwha PTZ Models operating in Milestone XProtect

Summary:

Hanwha PTZ cameras have a feature called 'Area Zoom' which is the ability to zoom in on an area when a box is drawn.  In order to use this feature in Milestone's XProtect Smart Client, a setting needs to be changed in the Settings area of Smart Client.

Step By Step Guide:

1. Log in to XProtect Smart Client.

2. In the 'Application' section, find the 'Default PTZ click mode' setting.

3. Change the setting from 'Virtual joystick' to 'Click-to-center'. (Figure 1)

4. Click Close to exit the 'Settings' dialogue box.
