Bookmarks no longer created after upgrading to Wave V5.1

Wisenet Wave V5.1 brings security enhancements that may affect older 3rd party integrations such as Number Ok Edge, Road AI and RoadWatch.

3rd party developers are advised to use the newer method of creating bookmarks -

• POST /rest/v1/devices/{deviceId}/bookmarks

Further information regarding the newer bookmark API can be found in the Wave web admin portal under API documentation.

These security enhancements can be rolled back to allow older integrations to continue to work as a temporary measure.

• To allow Wave V5.1 to work with depreciated bookmark API, log into the Wave admin portal.

• Within the advanced webpage, you need to enable "insecureDeprecatedApiEnabled"

3rd party bookmark creation should now continue to work as it did with Wave V5.0.
