Connecting SPC-7000 to a DVR

To connecting the SPC-7000 keyboard to a DVR

Connect TX+ on DVR to TX+ on port 1 of SPC-7000

Connect TX- on DVR to TX- on port 1 of SPC-7000

Set serial settings on DVR - make sure Baud rate is correct and Device ID is unique

Login to SPC-7000 and select settings

Select Device

Select Add

Select Manual registration

Select the Analog option and enter the DVR Device ID, Baud rate to match the serial settings of DVR and a description of the DVR eg HRX-1635

Press ok and the entry should appear in the registration list

Go back to the main menu and select Recorder

Then select DVR

Enter the device ID of the DVR and press enter on the SPC-7000

You are now connected to the DVR and can use the following options

For PTZ control – type in a tile number and click PTZ

A message will appear on the SPC-7000 Screen – while this message is open the joystick will control the PTZ – click the message to stop PTZ control
