Summary:
We can enable/disable privacy mask with physical alarm input using ‘Event Rule’ and ‘Handover’
It can be used to deal with sensitive matters that need to be broadcast to other audiences. For example, in court they sometimes want to mask witnesses and by pressing a button.
Here are the SUNPAI commands to enable/disable the privacy mask
- Enable privacy mask
http://<IP>/stw-cgi/image.cgi?msubmenu=privacy&action=set&Enable=True
- Disable privacy mask
http://<IP>/stw-cgi/image.cgi?msubmenu=privacy&action=set&Enable=False
Step By Step Guide:
1. Prerequisite: Configure the privacy mask on the camera
Example of the camera IP : 192.168.1.223
2. Create the Handover to enable the privacy mask
stw-cgi/image.cgi?msubmenu=privacy&action=set&Enable=True
3. Create another Handover to disable the privacy mask
stw-cgi/image.cgi?msubmenu=privacy&action=set&Enable=False
