Applies to Models: Wisenet Viewer
Summary:
The end-user has locked themselves out of their Wisenet Viewer, and you need to reinstall. But Viewer uninstallation does not clear out the credentials after uninstall.
Explanation of Behavior:
- On Windows or Linux-based systems, if a Wisenet Viewer user locks themselves out, they have to uninstall and re-install to get back in
- macOS keeps system files from Wisenet Viewer that store the software database.
Resolution:
- Open Finder
- Type Wisenet Viewer
- Click the "+" symbol to the right of Save (Figure 1)

- Select Other from the list (Figure 2)

- Find System Files in the list (Figure 3)
- Change to: are included (Figure 3)
- Click OK (Figure 3)

- The Search window should now have two results. The Application and the System Files (Figure 4)
- Drag both items to the trash (Figure 4)

- Re-install the Wisenet Viewer application
