How to set up SSM Event Action

Introduction

SSM user can set up Event Action Functionality in SSM so that everytime designated camera has specific events, SSM Console Client could be notified by any event action such as instant viewer popping up, Start Record, Alarm, Auto Broadcasting etc

Pain Point

• As expanding a feature of SSM, SSM user should not only monitor the every channels in real time but also certain camera where shoots very important scene, also should trigger the alarm or event action in VMS so that a user could take instant action for the outcome

Step by Step

1. Camera Setting​

• Set up the event option in camera side ( ex. Motion Detection )

2. SSM Configuration setting​

• Click the Event Action

3. SSM Configuration setting​

• Select the camera that you have the events coming from

4. SSM Configuration setting​

• Check which camera and event should be triggered

5. SSM Configuration setting​

• Select which camera and which action to be taken

6. SSM Configuration setting​

• Check which camera with which event and which action should be taken

7. SSM Configuration setting​

• Check which camera with which event and which action should be taken

8. SSM Event Action Triggered​

• As a result, you can see instant viewer pops up everytime event occurs in selected camera
