Summary
- Some models of Hanwha Vision's outdoor cameras have a built-in heater, which can be controlled through the camera setup menu as shown below.
- This is effective when used to resolve blurred images caused by moisture on the lens due to the temperature difference between the outside and inside of the camera.
- The action of the heater depends on the ambient temperature of the camera, so it needs to be explained.
Root Cause & Resolution
- Depending on the outside temperature around the camera, it behaves in three different scenarios. The boundary has an approximately 5°C tolerance.
- Low-Range Temperature Case

- Mid-Range Temperature Case

- Clicking on the [One time act] button will activate the heater for 30 minutes
- High-Range Temperature Case
- Heater not working
- The heater does not activate even when [One time act] is clicked.
