NVR as NTP server
Hi,
I have been having issues using the NVR as an NTP server. I have set it up as the following. Enable as NTP Server. Selected. The NVRs IP address is 192.168.10.6. The cameras im trying to sync are 192.168.10.11-24. They are trying to find the IP ending in 10.6 on port 123. It just always says that it has failed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Pye,
Thank you for your request.
Firstly what model of NVR are you referring to?
Have you tried making sure that the NVR itself has the latest version of it's firmware.
Is the NVR connected to the internet via P2P?
If you could kindly provide a little more detail then we may be able to guide you in the right direction.

It's is an XRN-3210RB2. FW 5.34.22. It does not currently have an internet connection. I have configured a laptop to work as an NTP server at present. I would like the NVR to take over this role

Hi Pye,
It looks like the NVR has the latest version of firmware installed.
There is an NTP feature in the NVR but that only works when the NVR is connected externally or to a 3rd party NTP.
Below is the UI from the NVR where it's configured,
If you don't have it connected to an external FTP the NVR time will be synchronized to the devices themselves. But the NVR needs to be sync to an external source.
